BRC2
MSF Basic RiderCourse 2
For experienced riders who own a motorcycle and want their Colorado endorsement.
MSF Curriculum
- Price
- $295
- Includes
- eCourse + 1 range day
- Duration
- 4 hr online + 6 hr on-range
Ideal for participants already familiar with motorcycle riding who have their own motorcycle but do not yet have their motorcycle license endorsement.
A 4-hour self-paced eCourse is followed by a single day (6 hours) of on-motorcycle training, led by an MSF-certified RiderCoach. Classes are capped at 8 students. You'll use your own motorcycle — current registration, proof of insurance, and a passing T-CLOCS inspection are required. Bring your own helmet (available if needed).
The course concludes with a written knowledge test and a hands-on riding skill evaluation. Passing both earns your course completion card — which waives the Colorado DMV testing requirements for your motorcycle (M) endorsement.
Exercises include
- Control at low speed
- Stopping straight in a turn
- Stopping quickly & tight turns from a stop
- Stopping in a curve
- Multiple curves & lane changes
- Limited-space maneuvers
- Low-speed decreasing-radius curves
- Swerving & skills practice
