Small school. Serious training.
Ride Safe Motorcycle Training Inc. is a local motorcycle school based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We teach the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Basic RiderCourse and Basic RiderCourse 2 on a dedicated training range — nothing more, nothing less.
Why we exist
Most new riders in our part of Colorado don't have a local option for proper, hands-on training. We started Ride Safe to change that — to make safe, effective motorcycle education available where riders actually live and ride.
We're small on purpose. Eight students per range class, an MSF certified instructor who knows your name, and a curriculum built around real-world skills, not just passing a test.
What to expect

Ride Safe Motorcycle Training is built on two pillars of motorcycle-safety education in the United States.
Motorcycle Safety Foundation
The MSF is the national authority that develops and licenses the curriculum used by motorcycle training schools across the United States. Our BRC and BRC2 courses are taught using MSF-approved curriculum and led by MSF-certified RiderCoaches.
Colorado MOST Program
MOST is the Motorcycle Operator Safety Training program administered by the Colorado State Patrol. Ride Safe Motorcycle Training is an approved MOST provider — meaning our completion card waives the Colorado DMV testing requirements for your M endorsement.
